Encyclopedia of Life on “CBS News Sunday Morning” Tomorrow
If you’ve been wondering about what came out of 2007 TED Prize Winner E.O. Wilson‘s wish, be sure to catch CBS News Sunday Morning tomorrow from 9 – 10:30am EST.
David Pogue, tech columnist for the New York Times and correspondent for CBS News, will report on the Wilson’s Encyclopedia of Life (EoL). In Pogue’s words, “The Encyclopedia of Life is an ambitious international ‘moon shot’ of a project. It will attempt to catalog and describe every single one of the Earth’s 1.8 million known species in one place–something that’s never been attempted before– by drawing on both experts and ordinary citizens to fill in the blanks. It’s the brainchild of 2-time Pulitzer Prize winner (and ant specialist) E.O. Wilson, who’s a great interview!”
If the segment gets posted online, I will put it up for those who miss it tomorrow.
