James Nachtwey, winner of the 2007 TEDPrize, wished “to break a story that the world needs to know about in a way that provides spectacular proof of the power of news photography in the digital age.”

Over the past 18 months TED has worked with James to gain access to locations he photographed and to prepare a spectacular plan for unveiling these pictures.

On October 3, the story breaks and we want you to witness it.
